Tony Marinaro Sends a Harsh Message to Leave Martin St-Louis Alone
Last night, as part of his always very interesting column on TVA Sports, the excellent Tony Marinaro sent a very clear message in connection with the departure of Martin St-Louis.
The fact that many people are trying to find out the exact reason why Martin left is very tiring for Marinaro.
We send our best thoughts to Martin St-Louis, family first. That said, the calls, the messages [to find out what happened]... Let him be! He left for family reasons. Let him take the time he needs", he said, visibly shocked. - Via TVA Sports
His message is clear, and he is absolutely right.
Let's remember that Maxime Truman, from the site DansLesCoulisses, mentioned this yesterday afternoon on the radio:
It's funny because there are a lot of pure journalists, 5-6 pure journalists, real journalists, who called me or texted me on Sunday because they know I might dig into this information, so they don't dig but they still want to know. (the real story)
Clearly, there is a lot of unhealthy curiosity in this case, and it's true that we all need to make an extra effort to leave him alone.
Another point on which Marinaro is so right: Martin's return is absolutely, but absolutely not urgent.
Family is the priority, and the Canadiens players have a nice constructive challenge ahead of them.
