Breaking: Ilya Samsonov Signs in Toronto and it Could be a Steal
During the last few minutes, it was announced that goaltender Ilya Samsonov has signed a new contract.
We are talking about a one-season contract with a total value of 3.55 million dollars. He will be a free agent next summer.
The negotiations between Samsonov's camp and Toronto were so difficult that an arbitrator had to make the decision.

Samsonov, 26 years old, is a goaltender standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 215 pounds. He had a record of 27-10-5 last season with the Leafs, with an average of 2.33 goals against and a save percentage of 0.920. However, things got tough for him during the playoffs.
