Following a devastating defeat for the Toronto Maple Leafs, William Nylander promptly made up his mind about his subsequent steps.
After being ousted from the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Florida Panthers, he immediately boarded a flight to Sweden.
Reports suggest that Nylander plans to unite with his brother, Alex, on Team Sweden for the World Hockey Championships.
The tournament, held in Tampere, Finland, and Riga, Latvia, commenced just the day before.
Changing Threads
While this is just temporary, it is wild to see Nylander change threads so quickly.
Clearly he wants to win and it's not happening in Toronto!
