Toronto Maple Leafs Sign 6-Foot-6 Giant Goalie
We've had some action in the National Hockey League in the last few hours, with a few interesting signings, including that of Jon Gillies.
There have been a few announcements of professional tryout contracts, including Kevin Labanc (New Jersey Devils), Andy Welinski (New Jersey Devils), and goaltender Dylan Ferguson (Vancouver Canucks).
Speaking of goalies, please note that the 6-foot-6 giant, Jon Gillies, has officially signed a PTO with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Jon Gillies, 30 years old, is indeed a 6-foot-6, 225-pound goaltender who is massive in front of his net and was a third-round pick by the Calgary Flames in 2012.
In 35 career NHL games, he has a record of 8-16-3, a goals-against average of 3.39, and a save percentage of 0.864.
He played three games with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2023 and 19 games with the New Jersey Devils in 2022.
Speaking of signings and professional tryouts, let's remember that the Montreal Canadiens announced earlier today the 59 players who will be present at the 2024 training camp.
We're excited to see all these players try to prove themselves.
