First, don't expect to see Lindholm back in Vancouver, as his wife gave a serious hint on social media about their future with the Canucks organization.
She first posted a photo of their family packing, with the caption "last day in Vancouver."
But that's not all.
A fan then asked her why they weren't staying in Vancouver, and she confirmed that it is related to his next contract and his free-agent status.
So, Elias Lindholm will evidently become a free agent.
We can almost confirm that a return home is very plausible for forward Toffoli, because David Pagnotta just revealed that the Vancouver Canucks and the Los Angeles Kings (two of Toffoli's former teams) will seriously try to sign him as an unrestricted free agent this summer.
If we add the Montreal Canadiens, which have also been mentioned as potential destinations for Toffoli, we realize that a return to a former team is very plausible for Tyler Toffoli and his wife.
That says a lot about him and the impression he left on his former teams who all want him back.
Toffoli, 32, scored 55 points in 79 games last season, including 33 goals. In previous seasons, he had scored 44 and 73 points.
In recent years, he has played for the Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, Montreal Canadiens, Calgary Flames, New Jersey Devils, and Winnipeg Jets.
His wife has never hidden her love for Montreal and Quebec, even a few years after their departure from the Canadiens.
Stories to follow.
