A huge rumor about Matvei Michkov has just been debunked, and his agent is suspected to having lied
For the past few days, journalist Anthony Martineau from TVA Sports has been working hard to obtain exclusive information, and he has just revealed another piece of news.
A major rumor regarding Matvei Michkov has been debunked.
"I can confirm that the rumor claiming that the Ducks were 'seriously considering selecting Matvei Michkov' is unfounded. The Russian's camp refused to meet with the team in person; Anaheim did not consider him with their second pick. 1+1=2. That's it."
Anthony Martineau
So, did his agent lie? Let's recall that the agent recently mentioned that the Ducks seriously considered him for their second overall pick and that he nearly got drafted at the 2nd spot.
This whole story is really strange, to say the least.
We're talking about information that came directly from his agent and significantly affected Michkov's odds on sports betting sites.
Indeed, the red flags concerning Michkov (and his agent) continue to accumulate at an astonishing rate.
Let's not forget that one of Michkov's teammates recently made troubling revelations about his terrible attitude, and on top of that, Michkov's agent, Sergei Fedotov, mentioned that his client wanted nothing to do with playing for the Arizona Coyotes or the Washington Capitals "for various reasons."
