Controversy: a Name you Know Well From the Golden Knights has been Left Off the Stanley Cup
Recently, fans have noticed a Vegas Golden Knights player whose name was not engraved on the Stanley Cup.

Indeed, the name of Nolan Patrick is not there, even though he was under contract with the team during their victory.
In 2021, he signed a two-year contract with Vegas, but he did not play all season, due to a recurring migraine problem.
Remember that championship teams can only inscribe 52 names on the Cup. This includes players, staff, and management. There are certain criteria to meet in order for your name to be engraved on the Cup.
Unfortunately, for these reasons, Patrick was left out. This is certainly not unanimous on social media, but one can understand.
This is obviously a name you know well, he is the one who was drafted 2nd overall in 2017 (1st round) and who was touted to be the first overall choice.
Patrick amassed 7 points in 25 games with Vegas, after being acquired in July 2021, in exchange for Cody Glass, a 6th overall pick.
