Over the past few hours, young sensation Matvei Michkov has made a significant announcement.
Even though he will be present, on-site, to attend the 2023 NHL Draft and to meet his future organization, Michkov just announced this.
"He will not be at the Combine (physical tests) in Buffalo, which will certainly cool off a few teams."
The one who is, according to many, the best prospect from his country since a certain Alex Ovechkin, continues to make waves. He is certainly the hidden card of this draft.
For some teams, it's an extremely important process and it could certainly make Michkov fall from certain ranks on some teams' draft lists.
Let's hope this is not the case for the Montreal Canadiens. We want Michkov!
Stay tuned.
