Last night during the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Chicago Blackhawks, we saw some disturbing footage.
Young forward Cole Caufield temporarily left the game, apparently injured in the lower body.
Watch the sequence here:
He missed part of the game, but fortunately, he returned. (although he seemed uncomfortable for the rest of the game)
Let's just say the Christmas break is coming at a perfect time for him, but it will definitely be a situation to monitor when the Canadiens players return to practice.
The next game is on December 28th in Carolina.
RDS just showed that Caufield injured his leg. He missed several shifts afterward. He's back in the 3rd. I hope it's the right decision.
We just hope that bringing him back to the game didn't aggravate his injury.
More details will follow.
