Jon Cooper announcement: bad news just hit the Tampa Bay Lightning
As you probably already know, things are not going well for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The team is on a bad losing streak, head coach Jon Cooper had to confront his star players and bench them for a whole period (in the case of Nikita Kucherov, Steven Stamkos, and Brayden Point), and they just got crushed by the Carolina Hurricanes.
As if all of this wasn't enough, Jon Cooper announced bad news today, another setback for his team:
Star defenseman Victor Hedman is injured.
Hedman, 32 years old, is one of the pillars of the Lightning. He has 42 points in 60 games this season (85 points last season).
His team could really use him right now, but let's hope (for their sake) that he comes back to the game soon.
