The Canadiens have just announced some bad news involving Arber Xhekaj.
Here's something we absolutely did not see coming, and it's very bad news.

Arber Xhekaj will need to undergo shoulder surgery again.

So, it's a second consecutive season ending prematurely for the Sheriff.

According to Priyanta Smith, Xhekaj's left shoulder will undergo surgery tomorrow.

For those inquiring, it's the other shoulder that was operated on last year.

Xhekaj, 23 years old, 6 feet 4 inches and 240 pounds, finishes his season with a total of 10 points, including three goals, in 44 NHL games. (a +6 differential and 81 penalty minutes).

He added 11 points in 17 games with the Laval Rocket.
