After the announced signing of Jakub Vrana, the Montreal Canadiens and Kent Hughes have just been proposed five players.

Five players who could be targets for professional tryout contracts.

Let's recall that in the last few hours, the Washington Capitals announced that they had signed a professional tryout contract with forward Jakub Vrana.

This is the first contract of its kind to be awarded in the NHL during this 2024 offseason.

A few minutes after this announcement, TVA Sports released a list of five players, five names who could be candidates for the Habs.

A first professional tryout contract has just been signed by WAS, and the Montreal Canadiens have just been submitted a list of five candidates by TVA Sports

Dominik Kubalik, 28 years old, is a 6-foot-2, 192-pound forward. He has accumulated 176 points in 357 career NHL games, including 93 goals. He had 30 goals in 68 games with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2020.

Nick Cousins, 31 years old, is a 5-foot-11, 186-pound forward who played for the Montreal Canadiens in 2019-2020. He has accumulated 180 points in 592 career NHL games and is now a Stanley Cup champion.
