Just hours before the grand final of the Four Nations Showdown between Canada and the United States, all eyes are on the Canadian goaltenders.

Who will get the start in net, considering that Jordan Binnington has been very shaky throughout the tournament, especially last Saturday against this same American team.

Don't hold your breath too much, because Canada's starting goaltender for the grand final is reportedly already decided, and it will once again be Jordan Binnington.

Once confirmed, this will be a decision that sparks a lot of reactions.

During a recent press conference, Canada's head coach, Jon Cooper, had this to say:

"It wasn't a difficult decision at all (to choose Binnington as the starter for the game against Finland).

Binnington has been excellent for us.

He has given us a chance to win in every game.

It's the lack of offense that has hurt us.

Other underrated factors about Jordan are that he's a gamer and his ability to move the puck to kickstart the attack.

If you look at all our zone exits in the last game, he was the one who initiated them all.

That's actually why he recorded a point-because he started Connor McDavid's breakaway."

As we said, in light of these statements, don't hold your breath waiting to find out who Canada's starting goalie will be for the final against Team USA.

It's happening right here:

It will clearly be Binnington, whom Cooper seems to really appreciate. It's a bold decision, and let's hope it pays off for Canada!
