Briere reveals major turnaround in Matvei Michkov's career path

During his end-of-season review, the General Manager of the Philadelphia Flyers, Daniel Brière, announced major news involving Matvei Michkov.

It's been almost a year since Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens decided to cause a surprise by passing over the generational talent Matvei Michkov with the fifth overall pick in the 2023 draft.

Michkov also had a historic 2023-24 season on the ice (41 points in 47 games), but above all, he experienced a much quieter and more peaceful year off the ice.
