We have good news regarding a former Montreal Canadiens forward. Colin White is officially back in the National Hockey League, having signed a contract with the San Jose Sharks.

He is a former client of Kent Hughes, who had been claimed off waivers a few months ago, and now he's returning to action in the world's best league.

We're very happy for him.

«The Sharks have signed a one-year contract with 27-year-old player Colin White (a free agent) for the current season.

$850,000 in the NHL
$500,000 in the minors

Represented by Phil Lecavalier (QuartexxHockey)

The contract should be registered and active tomorrow.

He was under an AHL contract with San Jose: 10 points in 20 games in the AHL.»

Colin White is back in the NHL and signs a new contract

We wish him the best of luck with this fresh start and new opportunity. He was a well-liked teammate in Montreal.

White, 27 years old, is a forward standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 190 pounds, drafted in the 1st round by the Ottawa Senators in 2015 (21st overall).

He has 113 points in 320 career NHL games, with 41 of those points coming during his rookie season in 2018-2019.

At that time, he appeared to be on track to become a dominant NHL forward, but his development stagnated significantly afterward.

With Martin St-Louis's squad last season, White recorded 0 points in 17 games with a minus-3 rating on a fourth line.

Good luck, Colin!
