We have news from the Montreal Canadiens following the recall of forward Rafaël Harvey-Pinard.

This explains that Harvey-Pinard seems to have been recalled because Josh Anderson and Brendan Gallagher are unfortunately dealing with discomfort.

We didn't see this one coming.

Minor Injuries for Josh Anderson and Brendan Gallagher

In any case, knowing that they have a chance to play tonight and are considered game time decisions, we understand that these are indeed minor injuries.

It's still a situation to monitor closely.

Prior to head coach Martin St-Louis' pregame press conference, the Canadiens announced that Rafaël Harvey-Pinard was recalled from the Laval Rocket.

St-Louis confirmed that Jakub Dobes will be in net against the Devils, while Josh Anderson and Brendan Gallagher are game-time decisions.

See the official statement.

We will keep you updated with all the details on this situation, but it's clear that the loss of Anderson and Gallagher would hurt Martin St-Louis' squad.

Josh Anderson and Brendan Gallagher are both game-time decisions for tonight's game vs New Jersey.

Gallagher, 32 years old, has 20 points in 48 games this season, including 11 goals.

Anderson, 30 years old, has 18 points in 48 games this season, including 8 goals.

Both are having excellent seasons for the Canadiens, far beyond the stats, and their brilliance on the third line certainly contributes to the Habs' success this season.
