Yesterday, as you know, the Panthers were trailing 3-2 late in the game against Boston, and they pulled their goalie to add a sixth skater (to try to tie the game).
With a little over a minute left in regulation time, during the faceoff preceding the dramatic game-tying goal by the Panthers, there was a curious glitch on the TNT channel, the official NHL channel in the United States:
Indeed, the scoreboard suddenly displayed an animation indicating a goal scored by the Panthers, but it was before Brandon Montour tied the game.
As if they had announced the goal before it was counted.
Indeed, a few moments later, a few seconds after the TNT channel prematurely announced a goal scored by Florida, the Panthers tied the game 3-3.
Although this is simply a technical glitch, Bruins fans have shared the sequence on social media, claiming that the game was rigged.
The sequence is causing a lot of reactions, and we must admit that it's strange, but once again, let's remember that it's just a coincidence.
