The Panthers have just completely banned Toronto Maple Leafs fans, and it's causing a huge reaction
In the last few minutes, the Florida Panthers organization has made a controversial announcement that is not at all unanimously supported.
Maple Leafs fans are banned from their arena for the second round of the 2023 playoffs. Wow.
How will they enforce this?
To buy a ticket, you will need to have a U.S. address.
"FLA Live Arena is located in Sunrise, Florida. Sales for this event will be restricted to U.S. citizens only. This will be based on the registered addresses linked to credit cards. Orders made by residents outside the United States will be canceled without warning and refunded."

It will be interesting to see how Leafs fans, who can be very motivated and inventive, will get around this ban.
The Panthers have really decided that Canadian fans won't be able to buy tickets for games against the Maple Leafs. An interesting gamble:
