Moments ago, top insider Elliotte Friedman confirmed that Yanni Gourde is heading back to Tampa Bay, where he won two Stanley Cups, as part of a 7-piece blockbuster trade.

"Seattle gets a first-round pick in 2026, a first-round pick in 2027, Toronto's second-round pick in 2025, and Eyssimont in a trade with Tampa.
The Bolts receive Gourde and Bjorkstrand, as well as a fifth-round pick in 2026."
Yanni Gourde, 33 years old, has 17 points in 36 games this season and earns just under $5.2 million per year.
He won two Stanley Cups with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Oliver Bjorkstrand, 29 years old, has 37 points in 61 games this season and earns $5.4 million per year until 2026.
Michael Eyssimont, 28 years old, has 10 points in 57 games this season and earns $800,000 per year until next summer.
