At least that's what some experts claim, and as reported by Marco Normandin, from the site Habsolumentfan.com, two insiders can see the young goalie being traded to the Canadiens.
In the most recent podcast of the Sportsnet network, 32 Thoughts, Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek discussed the possibility that Kent Hughes might acquire Carter Hart, even though Jake Allen and Samuel Montembeault are under contract for the next season.
Marek even added that having someone like Carey Price as an idol could be an additional motivation (and clue) for Hart and that he has a great potential to become a top-tier goalie with the Canadiens.
Obviously, many Canadiens fans would love to have a goalie of Hart's caliber, but it's far from a done deal and other teams such as the Buffalo Sabres and the San Jose Sharks are highly interested in the Flyers' goaltender, according to the two insiders.
Not to mention the Edmonton Oilers, who might be a top-tier goalie away from being serious Stanley Cup contenders.
Just like in the Pierre-Luc Dubois case, we hear many trade proposals between the Canadiens and the Flyers but it is highly likely that Daniel Brière will be quite demanding in his requests for his young goaltender.
