Among the many players involved, there's Rem Pitlick, who left the Habs to join the ranks of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

He has just revealed that Rem Pitlick had recently requested a trade from Kent Hughes.
The Canadiens' General Manager therefore fulfilled his wish, accommodated him, and allowed him to get a fresh new opportunity elsewhere.
According to information from Renaud Lavoie, Pitlick had indeed recently requested a trade.
While on the air with TVA Nouvelles, Renaud Lavoie had important information about the other traded forward, Pitlick. The forward, who signed a two-year contract last summer, had requested a trade from Kent Hughes. - DLC
