After the wave of players placed on NHL waivers yesterday, we have ten new ones today, including a name you know well.

See the full list.

Placed on waivers today:

Keaton Middleton (COL)

Spencer Smallman (COL)

Alex Belzile (NYR)

Anton Blidh (NYR)

Turner Elson (NYR)

Ty Emberson (NYR)

Connor Mackey (NYR)

Riley Nash (NYR)

Adam Gaudette (STL)
and
Tyler Wotherspoon (NJ).

Obviously, the name that attracts the most attention is Alex Belzile, who is so well-liked within the Montreal Canadiens organization.

Knowing that he's already been quickly cut by the New York Rangers, could Kent Hughes bring him back home? (even if it means sending him back to the Laval Rocket afterward)

He could be a serious candidate to help our young players.

He tried his luck in New York, and we understand, but without success.

Belzile, 32, has scored 15 points in 44 games with the Montreal Canadiens, and 26 points in 31 games with the Laval Rocket last season.

Would you like Kent Hughes to find a way to bring him back with the Rocket? (and part-time with the Canadiens)

Alex probably prefers to play with the Rocket, compared to the New York Rangers' farm team.

To be continued.
