It seems inevitable that Patrick Kane will be a New York Ranger. The package that will get him there has now been leaked.
Due to Kane's full no-move clause, he can choose wherever he wants to go. With the Rangers being the only destination suited for him, the package appears to lean heavily in New York's favour.
Kane Trade Package Leaked
Per Rangers weekly radio host WillNYC, the package will consist of a second round pick and two prospects.
Im hearing from sources that the #NYR and #Blackhawks are hammering out the final framework for a Patrick Kane trade. I'm hearing the Rangers are sending F Vitali Kravtsov, D Zac Jones, and a 2023 second round pick for Patrick Kane (50% retained)
In addition, the Montreal Canadiens will be retaining 25% of Kane's salary for a fourth round pick.
With reports that the deal is 99% done, this deal could be happening any day now.
The only question is, can the Rangers go all the way this year? We'll just have to wait and see.
