A known agent reveals that Kent Hughes is preparing a BIG trade
A few weeks before the famous 2024 NHL Draft in Las Vegas, many are trying to predict Kent Hughes' next trade.
It's often discussed, but the Canadiens' general manager has never hidden his intention to make a new transaction like the Kirby Dach/Alex Newhook deal.
It's normal to talk about it when the GM himself speaks about it publicly.
So, expect Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton to be active in the trade market, and expect them to be looking for their next Kirby Dach.
Already, some very interesting names are surfacing in the trade market, names like Trevor Zegras, Marco Rossi, Martin Necas, and Nikolaj Ehlers.

Wow, that's promising! Ettedgui goes even further by mentioning that the young defenseman Adam Engstrom, who is very promising, could be the one sacrificed in a Canadiens' summer trade (along with a first-round pick and another player).
