As trade rumors heat up between the Canadiens and the Ducks for Trevor Zegras, he has just been seen with Martin St-Louis.

You can guess that it didn't take much more to truly set the web on fire, but we must admit it's rather intriguing.

Trevor Zegras was seen arm in arm with Martin St-Louis

This comes from the site InfoLNH, which reports this big scoop from the FM93 radio station, a station in Quebec.

It was the host Jérôme Landry who indeed revealed that Martin St-Louis was seen at the gym in New York with none other than the young Trevor Zegras, whose name is seriously linked to the Montreal Canadiens via trade.

St-Louis and Zegras reportedly had a good discussion and left together.

«My sources tell me that the guy he talked to the most is named Trevor Zegras. And then, they saw each other at the gym, they chatted, and they left together. I don't know if they went out to eat, but Martin St-Louis and Trevor Zegras left the gym together, arm in arm, �Buddy buddy'... Listen, maybe it means nothing at all!»

This is really interesting.

It aligns with what the renowned Pierre LeBrun recently reported, that Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens are still very much in the Trevor Zegras derby.

Journalists from Anaheim, journalists from Montreal, and journalists from all corners of the NHL believe that the Habs are definitely one of the few favorites to acquire Zegras.
