In 55 games this season, Tkachuk has accumulated 25 goals and 22 assists for a total of 47 points. This total would give him 70 points on an 82-game projection. The 24-year-old now finished the 2022-2023 season with a total of 83 points, a career-high for him.
A trade involving Tkachuk could restart the Senators' rebuild. Depending on the return, they might take a step back in order to come back stronger. Currently 14 points away from a playoff spot, they have a record of 25-27-3. With three games in hand, they are one point above the Habs.
One thing is certain, a trade involving Brady Tkachuk would create a tsunami not only in Ottawa but throughout the entire NHL. It would also show the organization's intentions while demonstrating the style of the new GM, Steve Staios.
