Transaction Alert Involving Defenseman Pierre-Olivier Joseph

This is the second trade in just a few minutes in the National Hockey League.

Finally, trades and something concrete! There are many rumors circulating right now across the NHL, so it's exciting to see everything starting to materialize.

The next few days are bound to be interesting!

When will it be Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens' turn?

Pierre-Olivier Joseph, 25 years old, is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound left-shot defenseman from Laval, Quebec, and was the 23rd overall pick by the Arizona Coyotes in 2017 (1st round).

He has accumulated 39 points in 170 career NHL games, including 8 goals, and played 23 games with the St. Louis Blues this season.

This season, P.O. has accumulated 2 points in 23 games with the Blues.

This marks a return to Pittsburgh for Joseph, who was part of the Penguins organization from 2019 to 2024.

In case you missed it, the struggling Rangers have traded 2019 second overall pick, Kaapo Kakko to the Kraken.

Details to follow.
