As the divisional rounds concluded this weekend in the NCAA, we now know the 16 teams that will compete for the National Championship.
Of those teams, there are no less than seven prospects from the Montreal Canadiens organization, including the newest addition Ty Smilanic. See below the other prospects you will see in action during this tournament.
The 16 teams will consist of the six conference champions and 10 teams selected by the NCAA committee. They will compete for the title of America's top college team on March 25. These 16 teams will be divided into four regions, with the winners from each region competing in the famed Frozen Four on April 7 and 9.
So Jordan Harris won't be able to come to terms with the Habs, in the worst case scenario, until April 9, the last possible game in the college circuit. He could sign earlier if his Northeastern team is eliminated early.
