«Mikko Rantanen is on his way to Montreal and is expected to play for Team Finland.»
- Elliotte Friedman
This is great news for Patrik Laine, Joel Armia, and their team, as well as for the fans attending the Bell Centre.
Adding a player of this caliber definitely enhances the event, just like Sidney Crosby does.
Mikko Rantanen, 28 years old, 6 feet 4 inches tall, and 215 pounds, is one of the top forwards in the entire National Hockey League.
Also, note that action at the Bell Centre begins today for the Four Nations Showdown, as teams take to the ice for preliminary practices.
We'll also be closely watching the status of Sidney Crosby for Team Canada.
It's shaping up to be an exciting competition with a lot of parity, especially now that Finland will have Mikko Rantanen after losing Miro Heiskanen and Rasmus Ristolainen in recent weeks and days.
