2 more brothers could be reunited by Kent Hughes in Montreal this summer

While the upcoming acquisitions of the Canadiens are creating a lot of buzz, two more brothers could be reunited by Kent Hughes in Montreal this summer.

We have already mentioned the THW journalist who raised the possibility of seeing the Canadiens make a minor trade with the Carolina Hurricanes to bring Nick Suzuki's brother to town, but there is more.

Unless Ryan Suzuki is involved in the possible transaction for Martin Necas? To be continued.

We are talking about a 6-foot, 176-pound center who was drafted in the 1st round in 2019 but has never really had his chance in Carolina, despite good seasons in the American Hockey League. (62 points and 27 goals over the past two seasons)

Ryan Suzuki also amassed 35 points in 23 games in his last season in the OHL with the Saginaw Spirit.

A name to remember, Nick Suzuki's brother, but as we mentioned, that's not all.

Cole Hutson, Lane Hutson's brother, in the sights of Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens?

We focus a lot on the Canadiens' 5th overall pick, but the Habs also have the 26th overall pick in the first round, which belongs to the Winnipeg Jets.

If the Canadiens' management applies the same logic as for the Xhekaj family and Florian Xhekaj last season, don't be surprised if the 26th overall pick is none other than Cole Hutson, Lane Hutson's brother.

Cole is also a very talented offensive defenseman, just like Lane, and he had a record-breaking season in 2023-2024.

Hutson even confirmed that he had discussions with the Montreal Canadiens regarding the 2024 draft.
