There have been times this season, particularly in Toronto, when fans have thrown their jerseys on the ice.

With the CH's disastrous season, it was only a matter of time before this happened to them. It did, however, happen in a funny way, at a Laval Rocket game, away from home no less, as the Canadiens' affiliate paid a rare visit to the Abbotsford Canucks.

Laval had a tough first period as the Canucks scored three goals. After the third goal, a Rocket fan got annoyed and threw his jersey on the ice.

This gesture is quite surprising when we know the excellent season the Rocket is having. Jean-François Houle's team is in second place in the AHL's North Division this season, with a 31-23-3 record. Plus, it's not like Abbotsford absolutely crushed the Rocket in this game. The final score was 3-1, hardly out of the ordinary for a field hockey game.

The fan probably wanted to protest the Rocket's parent team, the Canadiens. Despite a disastrous start to the season that was difficult to watch, things have turned around in Montreal since Martin St-Louis took over the bench. This may not be enough for the Western Canada fan...
