It's been about a week since we've known the identity of the Blackhawks player at the heart of the scandal in Chicago. Since then, several information have been revealed and they have finally allowed us to understand the severity of this case.
Apparently, the National Hockey League has taken the first step in this matter. More than ten years after Brad Aldrich's name was inscribed on the Stanley Cup, it seems that his name has officially been erased from the precious trophy.
However, it is true that the names of many who tried to cover up this scandal in many ways are still on Lord Stanley's trophy.
It was certainly the right thing to do by the Bettman Circuit authorities, but it will not erase this huge scandal. When it comes to the Blackhawks' Stanley Cup win in 2010, the majority will associate it with an organization that tried to bury the truth behind a dark and sad event.
In your opinion, should all the names of the Chicago Blackhawks players from the 2010 edition be removed from the Cup?
