A player has left the Montreal Canadiens and it's a serious mistake
Does the name Pierrick Dubé ring a bell?
He was at the Montreal Canadiens camp last season and performed very well, before having a great season with the Laval Rocket.
In 2022-23, Dubé amassed a solid 32 points, including 16 goals, in 44 games with the Habs' farm team. (14 points, including 9 goals in 9 games with the Trois-Rivières Lions)
Unfortunately, last summer, the Montreal Canadiens organization let him slip away and he left to sign with the Washington Capitals organization.
Letting Pierrick Dubé go, a mistake by Kent Hughes
This season with the Hershey Bears, the farm team of the Caps, Dubé has stepped up to the next level. (he was showing clear signs that it was coming)
At 22 years old, he currently has 17 goals in 31 games. (22 points)
«The top scorer in the AHL is named Pierrick Dubé. He scored his 17th of the season tonight for the Hershey Bears. Too bad we let him go.» - Anthony Marcotte
He is now a solid prospect for the Washington Capitals!
