Aside from the organization's first overall pick, Juraj Slafkovsky, one of the youngsters that is getting the most attention right now with the Montreal Canadiens is the young giant-sized defenseman Arber Xhekaj.
He continued the momentum he started in rookie camp, and in his first intrasquad game of the Habs' official training camp, he once again wowed the gallery.
What a find that Xhekaj is. Nice parting gift from Bergevin. His hockey intelligence, mobility, shooting and puck control skills are all above average. And he's 6-4 238 and tough as nails. He's NHL ready, in my opinion. With Edmundson's injury, he could make the team." - Grant McCagg
