Several Montreal Canadiens players were added to the list of COVID-19 this Monday morning.
Five players and one staff member are on the COVID-19 protocol: Jake Allen, Ben Chiarot, Joel Edmundson, Jeff Petry, Chris Wideman and Eric Raymond (goaltender coach).
To make up for losses and complete the taxi-squad, the Canadiens made some moves.
Note that Laurent Dauphin, Mike Hoffman, Artturi Lehkonen and Tyler Toffoli are still on the COVID-19 protocol today (Monday).
Despite this negative rain on the Sainte-Flanelle this Monday morning, the group will still travel to Tampa Bay today to face the Lightning.
That said, as we compose this brief note, the CH and Lightning, despite a ton of COVID-19 cases, will be battling on the rink on Tuesday night (7 p.m.).
However, watch for more information in the next few hours.
