As the Montreal Canadiens returned to practice today, after a well-deserved day off, we had some good news, including a big surprise.
First, Josh Anderson was on the ice with his teammates and he is good-to-go.
«Josh Anderson took part in a full practice today and should be playing Saturday in Ottawa." - Montreal Canadiens
Let's also recall the update, concerning Carey Price:
There was also an update regarding the health status of Joel Armia:
Mathieu Perreault:
And also, there is a big surprise :
«Joel Edmundson practiced with the team (non-contact jersey). He is progressing well and will travel with the team to Ottawa, but will not play." - Montreal Canadiens While, according to the most recent news, everything indicated that Edmundson's season was most likely over, he suddenly appears back on track and seems to be getting very close to a return to play.
It was really not expected, and it is a great surprise. Edmundson therefore skated with his teammates, for the very first time this year (with a non-contact jersey), and he will even make the trip to Ottawa tomorrow. wow! He won't be playing tomorrow, but he's getting closer.
More details will follow, but in general, a lot of good news this morning for Martin St-Louis and his guys.
