Canadiens have an additional candidate for GM title, according to rumours

According to the latest rumors circulating on Twitter, the Montreal Canadiens would be interested in Kent Hughes to fill the team's general manager position.
Louis Jean and Elliotte Friedman have also reported this rumor.
Kent Hughes is a Quebec-based player agent from Beaconsfield, Quebec. He has some interesting big names among his clients, including Kris Letang and Patrice Bergeron. He also knows the new VP of hockey operations, Jeff Gorton, well. And guess what? He's bilingual.
However, Hughes said he has not been approached by the CH for such a position at this time.
"I don't control the speculation, he said. I haven't talked to anyone about the GM position."
Recall that Jeff Gorton had said that there was a possibility that the new CH GM would be a player agent. That's why Hughes' name was circulating on Saturday.
