Lane Hutson has been in the news since being selected in the second round by the Habs this summer. He was particularly impressive when he participated in the team's development camp.
This is Hutson's first time skating in the NCAA and he is simply dominant. Here's a clip that shows his main asset: his intelligence.
On the play, not only does Hutson create space for his teammates, he also opens up the zone completely, and then drives to the net to score. A goal that seems easy, but that shows the immense talent of the young man.
Few players have his hockey intelligence and this asset will inevitably lead him to the NHL soon enough.
