Carey Price has just sent a major message to Montreal and it's causing a huge stir right now

Carey Price made a big move today, attending the Montreal Canadiens' morning practice and spending time in the stands with young fans.

Price mentioned to his bosses that he would like to be more involved in this way, to give back to the community as much as possible. We love it.

As my colleague Vincent Fournier reports, this is such a good thing, especially because fans miss Carey Price, Quebec misses Carey Price!

Today, in addition to his presence with his teammates and at the Bell Center, number 31 took the opportunity to send a strong message.

Upon arriving at the Bell Centre earlier, Price was asked by the guys from Habs Fan TV what Montreal meant to him.

Here's his salient answer:

"Montreal is a second home to me. I've been here for a long time and I've loved my time here. I have raised my family here and have been treated totally amazing by the majority of the people. I'm extremely grateful for all the time I've spent here." - Carey Price

He says it, but you can clearly read it in his face.

It's important to insist on saying it. Just the fact that Price would take the time to stop his car, on his way into the Bell Centre, to answer a few quick questions from a fan, practically "on the side of the road", says a lot about the man he is.
