Chantal Machabée is now working with the Montreal Canadiens, managing the communications side to make it more transparent.
That said, the great lady of the CH appeared on 91.9 Sports this morning, she who has had a column for several years with the station.
She spoke with LP Guy and Gilbert Delorme, and then indicated that Carey Price was the first player on the team to congratulate her.
Arriving in Brossard yesterday morning, Chantal came face-to-face with Carey in the Bell Sports Complex, then the latter was VERY complimentary to the lady, indicating how satisfied the team was with her arrival on board.
David Savard, Nick Suzuki, Mike Hoffman and Joel Armia all went to chat with the lady, demonstrating how satisfied they were.
It should be noted that Chantal has not yet begun her mandate with the Canadiens, but it will shortly. She cleared out her office at RDS on Friday night, so this week, she'll be out of the media world.
Moreover, she will take care of bringing news about the wounded in order to free Dominique Ducharme. Wow! I am so looking forward to her mandate to begin, this woman will be exceptional in her role.
