Cole Caufield scored his first goal of the season on Wednesday night against the Washington Capitals, and he seemed satisfied with his game... Besides his goal, did number 22 really play a great game? I really have to ask that question.
That said, during his post-game speech, Caufield chatted about the current style of his teammates and him, and then #22 just bet:
"It all comes down to pride and playing for each other. We all believe in the guys we have in the room and we all know what we can do when we are all on the same page."
So the players are not on the same page either with each other or with Dominique Ducharme. He talked about the lack of pride and the fact that the soldiers were not playing for each other.
The Habs can't afford to play like that, in fact no team can, but it's even more true for these guys. There is no Alex Ovechkin, Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl on this team.
It's simple, the Montreal Canadiens need to come back as a unit, a group, a team... That way, they might win more hockey games!
