Cole Caufield, the new star of the Montreal Canadiens, has quickly become one of the most popular faces in the group and has played only 30 games (including playoffs) in the NHL. Number 22 jerseys have sold tons of copies so far. There are even Caufield "Goal" t-shirts that have been designed. Then add to that a craft beer called "Goal! Caufield" which was brewed in honor of the American boy.
This beer is brewed by District 1 Brewing Company, a micro-brewery (pub) located in Steven's Point, Wisconsin, the birthplace of the Montreal Canadiens' dynamic forward. Another proof that he is an incredible marketing product, he could become the most sold name in Montreal in a few months.
This beer is a light American lager that showcases the hockey phenomenon that is Cole Caufield. A portion of the money raised from sales will be distributed to Camp Hope, whose mission is "to bring hope and healing to veterans and their families suffering from the effects of combat-related post-traumatic stress."
By the way, the micro has only brewed one batch of Goal! so far as it will be distributed only in the pub's tasting room until Caufield turns 21 (January 2). I remind you that in the United States, the legal age to go out to bars and drink alcohol is 21.
