Connor McDavid never ceases to impress. Whether it's his speed, his impressive puck handling, or the way he's able to rack up the points.
On Thursday night, he continued to impress with a hat trick against the hapless Chicago Blackhawks who had no idea how to stop him. His third goal of the night was a beauty, as he pulled off a great fake on the defenseman and beat the goalie!
Simply magical!
What's so amazing about McDavid is that as fast as he skates, his stick handling follows the speed of his feet. Better than that, his brain is faster than anything. There have been players throughout NHL history who have had McDavid's speed, but not his speed with the puck and speed to make decisions as quickly as he does.
The only player that comes close to him in my opinion has been Pavel Bure. Even then, I think McDavid has the edge. He's just a sight to behold every time he touches the puck.
