In the last few seconds, the Vancouver Canucks announced that they had traded goalie Mikey DiPietro to the Boston Bruins.

Jack Studnicka is a 23-year-old right-shot centre who notched 1 goal, 6 assists in 38 career games for the Bruins.
96 career points (34 goals, 62 assists) in 117 career AHL games (0.82 PPG).
Remember that the Montreal Canadiens general manager, Kent Hughes, had inquired about the possibility of acquiring DiPietro in the last few months, but it didn't work out in the end (obviously).
So he's heading to Boston, in the end.
