Within minutes of making the decision not to match the Carolina Hurricanes' offer, Marc Bergevin was not idle as he acquired center Christian Dvorak.
The day after the trade, the 25-year-old center received several goodbye messages, including from his former teammates with the Arizona Coyotes.
That's what defenseman Jakob Chychrun did today. His former teammate posted a simple sad emoji on his Twitter account. He seems to be sad about Dvorak's departure.
There is also Jason Demers who expressed good words towards Dvorak. The Quebecer mentioned that Canadiens fans would love their new acquisition, who would be extremely underrated.
In the midst of a rebuild, the future doesn't look very bright for Arizona. Several key players left the organization this summer. This was the case with Conor Garland and Oliver Ekman-Larsson, who headed to Vancouver.
With all the messages that the CH's new player received, it seems certain that Bergevin made a master stroke. We can't wait for the season to start to see him in action!
