Dominique Ducharme has rolled his hump to get where he is. The Montreal Canadiens head coach has used his wisdom and calm temperament to get the results he's been hoping for.
Under the Habs' current circumstances, any coach would have gotten angry at least once. However, Dom Ducharme did not go down that road, quite the contrary.
After every loss, I always expect Ducharme to lose his patience at his press conference and yet he remains in control.
Even some journalists have criticized him severely for not being tough enough on his players.
Remember that the Habs won against the Pittsburgh Penguins by a score of 6 to 3 last night. A result that did the Montreal organization a world of good.
Dominique Ducharme explained why he continues to be hopeful despite what's going on in the city, while keeping his cool. There is a process behind everything.
The Habs is not having the start to the season they had hoped for, but at least they have a leader who believes in his troops and keeps a positive attitude.
After all, Dominique Ducharme has used this method everywhere he's been in his career. The result? He has been successful everywhere, so why change a winning recipe?
