Monday night, against the Minnesota Wild, Dominique Ducharme made a class gesture for two young players, Ryan Poehling and Rem Pitlick.
Indeed, this game was the big comeback for Pitlick, who was claimed by the Canadiens from the Wild on January 12, as well as for Poehling, a native of Lakeville, Minnesota.
Ducharme had a nice thought for his two young forwards by letting them be part of the starting line-up, at the initial play of the game.
Former NHL recruiter Grant McCagg took the opportunity to throw an arrow at one of Ducharme's predecessors, Michel Therrien, who had left Michael McCarron aside when he returned to his hometown of Detroit.
To return to Ducharme, it is therefore a fine reward for his two young elements and an unforgettable memory for them. A beautiful moment therefore, which proves the humanity of this man that is Dominique Ducharme.
