The latter underwent knee surgery in May of 2021, following an injury sustained during the month of April. This injury occurred following a violent check against the Belleville Senators.
The 22 years old Quebecer had missed the entire 2019-2020 season, due to an injury to the same knee. Hoping for him that this time, the injuries leave him alone.
Remember that he was limited to 26 games last season, collecting 18 points in the process.
He should be able to play a first game in nearly nine months this Friday against the Texas Stars. He also made a number change from 14 to 24.
According to Anthony Marcotte, Josh Brook's return to the game is fast approaching. He is currently practicing with his teammates with a no-contact jersey. He is making great progress in getting back into shape.
This one went under the knife last September due to a lower-body injury.
These two could clearly muddy the waters in the Montreal Canadiens' lineup. If Teasdale manages to stay healthy, he could likely play for the Habs one day. He's a perpetual worker, and has some interesting offensive skills. Quite an intriguing combination.
As for Brook, he could take advantage of the lack of depth on the right side of the blue line in the organization. The Habs have a surplus of left-handed defensemen, but on the right side, the field is completely open. It's up to him to prove himself.
