Dominique Ducharme missed a great opportunity against the Blackhawks...

With his roster decimated by injuries, Dominique Ducharme missed the opportunity to use Jesse Ylonen considerably.
The young Finn was only used for 7 minutes, on a fourth line, against the Blackhawks, which seems far too little. While on the other hand, veterans like Jonathan Drouin and Mike Hoffman played more than 20 minutes.
In a lost cause like this one, I would have chosen the option of giving Ylonen some ice time in the top-9. Instead, Dominique Ducharme gave it to Cedric Paquette and Michael Pezzetta, two limited players offensively.
How can an offensive player produce if he doesn't have the tools to do so? Aside from Cole Caufield, almost every good young player in the organization that is recalled gets moved to the fourth unit. Remember a certain Nikita Scherbak in the past, or even Ryan Poehling just recently.
The young guys have to play! This is the perfect season to try this kind of experiment. It would make a lot more sense than using Drouin or Hoffman for more than 20 minutes...
