Dominique Ducharme showed his colors for the game against the Sabres in Buffalo on Friday night. The coach will return with a formula of 11 forwards and seven defensemen, which paid off in the game against the Nashville Predators.
Samuel Montembeault will be in net tonight, while Jake Allen will be the starter for tomorrow's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Mattias Norlinder will make his return to the lineup... and Joel Edmundson, who is close to a return, is not ready yet. He won't play tomorrow either, but he remains on track, according to Ducharme.
Cedric Paquette will be out of the lineup tonight, having just returned to action.
To watch for: the Habs' new combination of Jonathan Drouin, Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.
